Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. MBA or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years of related experience required
  • Demonstrated supply chain planning experience, including demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and projects
  • Experience with ERP (MXP/XELUS/SAP/APO)
  • Experience working with start-ups or stand-alone businesses a plus
  • PEX Certification
  • APICS Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of MXP, Xexlus Plan, and SAP
  • 10-20% travel required will depend on future strategy within Ortho Spares
Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate global demand and replenishment plans are in place
  • Ensures optimization of inventory investments globally and supports inventory trade-off decisions with relevant analytics
  • Ensures accurate and timely call center order entry and processing
  • Ensures key performance metrics are met for forecast accuracy, LIFR, first call completion, inventory, and a slob. Manages and reports through various leadership reviews
  • Directs the development of Spare Supply Chain planning strategies, policies, standards, and technologies, and maintains Standard Operating procedures and training
  • Identifies risks, scenarios, and proposals. Elevates Manages scenarios and risks through the Global Sales and Operations Planning Process
  • Leads the development of Spare's budget and delivers to targets
  • Manages lifetime buys through detailed analytics and alignment with cross-functional stakeholders and assumptions, with a focus on risk mitigation, service, and profitability
  • Develops recommended spare parts list and ensure adherence
  • Maintains relationships with third-party warehouse providers
  • Develops improvement plans
  • Manages the Spares business through the Sales and Operations Planning process
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned
