  • English fluency required

  • Bachelor’s degree in international or Global Studies, Human Services, Political Science, Social Work, Public Health and/or other relevant fields of study preferred
  • Must have knowledge of and experience with ODHS Self-Sufficiency public benefits (OHP, TANF, SNAP, TA-DVS, ERDC)
  • Must understand Trauma-Informed Care and experience with reflective supervision
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of immigrant and refugee populations and challenges/dynamics, community-aware approach and sensitivity
  • Ability to cultivate strong working relationships with stakeholders, colleagues, and community members
Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the daily operations and coordination of the New Arrivals programs including refugee resettlement and case management programs
  • Providing direct mentoring and support to a team of Case Managers
  • Ensuring trauma-informed and client-centered services reach community members
  • Coordinating selecting the New Arrival program implementation, developing workplans, monitoring expenses, and creating reporting schedules
  • Supervising a team of Case Managers, holding regular case conferences, and utilizing problem-solving skills to support staff
  • Implementing a client-centered, trauma-informed model to lead staff in assisting clients to self-sufficiency and attain stability
  • Ensuring confidential client records are recorded and maintained
  • Approving and processing requests for client assistance or other contract spending
  • Onboarding staff and leading performance evaluations
  • Fostering a supportive, positive, and accountable work environment
  • Regularly reviewing client files and service records
  • Assisting with design and periodically updating protocols and procedures
  • Building relationships with other IRCO programs and external service providers
  • Participating in internal and external meetings
  • Coordinating or conducting ongoing training of staff
  • Preparing and conducting community partner or provider presentations on IRCO’s New Arrival programs
  • Ensuring that all new programs align with the mission and respond to community needs
  • Performing other duties and leading other projects as assigned
