  • Master’s degree and 12+ years of experience (Bachelor’s and 20+ years)
  • 5+ years of relevant Agile DevSecOps engineering experience leading the development of systems orchestration and/or automation testing, utilization of industry standard CI/CD pipelines and modern coding languages and frameworks
  • 5+ years of relevant experience leveraging APIs and Web Services (SOAP and REST) to implement network automation and orchestration capabilities or experience creating and managing API dashboards
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Experience in a leadership role managing a team of developers while driving software standards and processes.
  • Experience working across multiple disciplines to accomplish a common set of goals and expectations.
  • Must possess an active Secret clearance to be considered.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee execution of the full software development lifecycle, from planning, through implementation, to operational readiness utilizing an agile model that continually adds functionality and automation.
  • Guide design, development, testing, deployment, production support and maintenance processes and identify opportunities to streamline through automation.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and promote collaboration across teams and projects.
  • Collaborate internally and with customer teams to understand software requirements and user stories to provide valid estimates and software design specifications.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity engineers to ensure all hardware and software components meet applicable requirements and policies.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to test and evaluate hardware and software exchanges.
  • Develop and execute automated test plans and strategies
  • Design, implement, and validate code fixes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network configuration and environment issues.
  • Provide transparent and regular status updates in requested format
  • Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software.
Desired Qualifications
  • Possess a current DevOps Engineer Certification
  • Two years of experience working within DoD network infrastructure.
  • Two years of experience working with commercial internet services providers developing SDN orchestration playbooks.
