Requirements
  • Experience applying engineering fundamentals in fluid mechanics & thermodynamics
  • Experience with ownership, problem-solving skills, and effective team collaboration
  • Experience delivering on ambitious schedules, even and especially if unconventional & creative solutions are necessary to do so
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, technology, or mathematics field
  • 5+ years relevant experience, preferably in a complex engineering system development and/or test environment
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Responsible Engineer for Aeon engine test articles
  • Support engine system analysis and simulation, trade studies, defining interfaces with other groups, and more
  • Take ownership of projects to increase collective efficiency
  • Lead collaborative projects to completion with minimal oversight
  • Be a self-starter always looking for ways to improve and learn more about systems
