Requirements
  • A current driver's license is required.
  • The driving record must be acceptable to the current insurance carrier.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based computer software and automotive store applications is required.
  • Experience in an automotive customer service, automotive service writing, service advising, or automotive sales role is required.
  • The employee must be dependable and reliable for a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • The employee must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the workday, including coordinating parts.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds.
  • The employee must maintain a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
  • Greet every guest entering the facility with hospitality and respect.
  • Present the best repair solution for each guest's vehicle in an understandable manner.
  • Manage the store's workflow effectively and efficiently.
  • Sell services consistently and effectively without compromising honesty and integrity.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally by phone.
  • Build long-term relationships among the store, the employee, and guests.
  • Direct, coordinate, and participate in customer-service activities.
  • Shuttle guests as needed in a Christian Brothers Automotive branded vehicle.
  • Ensure that repairs are performed to proper specifications.
  • Work as part of the team and assist other employees as needed.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
