Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline (M.S.in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or MBA highly preferred.) or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 10+ years of proven industry experience in technology strategy management, top-tier consulting, investment banking or strategy/corporate development at a major technology company
  • Deep knowledge of emerging technologies in multiple verticals
  • Previous experience working with senior executives in a strategy or consulting capacity
  • Business proficiency in Korean, bilingual preferred
Responsibilities
  • Drive initiates to identify key emerging technologies and/or applications that can be Samsung’s new growth engine. Work with SRA labs to research and analyze these emerging technologies for new product/service opportunities and build business cases and go-to-market plans for strategic markets.
  • Support executive decision making for strategic initiatives and investment decisions by building compelling briefings. Work closely with internal and external subject matter experts, ventures and investment groups, and academic and industry partners to develop key insights and recommendations.
  • Manage university collaborations and partnerships program. Build and maintain strong relationships with university faculty, researchers, administrators. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional and cross-geo team activities, setting project milestones, and motivating teams to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  • Proactively address ambiguity through strategic thinking followed by tactical execution.
