Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, preferably gained in a professional work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time in a dynamic environment.
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as mobile platforms including iOS and Android.
  • Experience with Google Workspace is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support by troubleshooting and resolving issues submitted through the IT ticketing system.
  • Manage and resolve service desk tickets in a timely manner, coordinating with employees to identify root causes and solutions.
  • Collaborate with other members of the IT team to diagnose and resolve more complex technical issues.
  • Escalate issues as needed while maintaining clear communication and ownership.
  • Solve real-world technical challenges in a dynamic IT environment.
  • Support technologies including Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Netskope, Cisco Meraki, KnowBe4, JAMF, and Intune.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced IT professionals to support technical and professional development.
  • Develop insight into how IT Operations supports and enables the broader business.
  • Work a hybrid schedule with on-site presence in the Boston office.
  • Provide occasional early or late hours as required to support team coverage.

AusperBio raises $120M Series C to advance hepatitis B therapy towards commercialisation

AusperBio Therapeutics has closed a $120 million Series C financing round to advance its lead hepatitis B therapy, AHB-137, towards commercialisation. The financing was led by an unnamed strategic investor, with participation from new investor RA Capital Management and existing backers including HanKang Capital and Qiming Venture Partners. The proceeds will support AHB-137's Phase 3 registrational programme and commercialisation readiness. Funds will also accelerate development of AHB-171, the company's investigational siRNA candidate, and advance combination therapies for chronic hepatitis B. With this round, AusperBio has raised $360 million since 2024. The San Francisco-based biotech is developing oligonucleotide therapeutics targeting chronic hepatitis B, which affects an estimated 254 million people worldwide. AHB-137 is currently being evaluated in a Phase 3 trial in China.
