Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in change management or a closely related field, with demonstrated success leading change on complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • A valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined in Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures, or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Complete knowledge and understanding of change management principles and the ADKAR framework.
  • The ability to assess unusual circumstances, adapt methodology creatively, and suggest variations when standard practice is insufficient.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and across functional boundaries.
Responsibilities
  • Independently develop and implement comprehensive change management plans for assigned initiatives using ADKAR-based methodology from discovery through sustainment.
  • Assess the complexity, scope, and stakeholder landscape of each initiative to calibrate the appropriate level and type of change support.
  • Identify adoption risks and resistance patterns early and develop proactive mitigation strategies integrated with the project plan.
  • Engage senior stakeholders and business leaders on change impact, readiness, and reinforcement expectations, adapting the approach and message to the audience.
  • Develop and execute communication plans for impacted employees at all levels, from frontline staff to functional leadership.
  • Partner with Enterprise Project Management Office project managers and HDT leads to embed change-management milestones in project governance and delivery timelines.
  • Lead impact and readiness assessments, synthesize findings into actionable plans, and present risk recommendations to project governance.
  • Monitor adoption indicators throughout the initiative lifecycle and adjust the change approach as conditions evolve.
  • Surface adoption risks in governance forums before go-live and maintain readiness visibility with the Enterprise Project Management Office and business owners.
  • Develop and deliver role-based training and partner with Learning and Development on content development and delivery logistics as appropriate.
  • Identify learning gaps and recommend training interventions addressing knowledge and ability barriers to adoption.
  • Partner with business leaders and sponsors to identify and embed reinforcement mechanisms that sustain change beyond go-live.
  • Conduct post-go-live monitoring and provide a structured handoff to business owners with documented sustainability plans.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prosci certification.
  • Experience working within a project governance or Enterprise Project Management Office-governed delivery environment.
  • Healthcare or similarly regulated industry experience.

Hanger acquires Liberating Technologies to advance prosthetic research and development

Hanger, Inc., a leading orthotic and prosthetic patient care provider, has acquired Liberating Technologies, Inc. (LTI), a research organisation founded in 2000 and previously owned by Coapt. LTI's research team has secured numerous government-funded grants since 2008 to develop next-generation technologies for the orthotic and prosthetic field. LTI will join Hanger Ventures and the Hanger Institute for Clinical Research and Education to drive innovation in clinical care. The team will continue current grant-funded initiatives, including advancing voice-recognition technology for prosthesis control and developing socket cooling systems for residual limb skin health. Hanger acquired Coapt, LTI's previous owner, in 2025. With this acquisition, the complete Coapt portfolio now belongs to Hanger, which operates more than 925 clinic locations across the United States.
