Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive, organised coordinator who cares about great student experiences and keeping a busy service team running smoothly. If you enjoy helping people, simplifying processes, and supporting a team to do their best work, this role could be a great fit.
As the Student Connect Coordinator, you’ll support the leadership team to deliver high‑quality, student‑focused services across the student lifecycle. Day‑to‑day, you’ll guide Student Connect Officers, assist with the management of workloads and rosters, and make sure enquiries are handled accurately and on time across our in‑person, phone, email and digital channels. You’ll also help improve our knowledge resources and processes so the team can work smarter.
What you’ll do
- Be the first point of contact for escalated enquiries—providing clear guidance and helping resolve issues
- Coordinate daily workloads and adjust priorities during peak periods
- Assist with roster management to ensure coverage across all service channels
- Monitor and triage team chat channels, sharing updates and escalating where needed
- Provide Tier 1 support to students and complete associated administrative tasks (e.g. standard documents, official letters, ID cards)
- Contribute to internal knowledge articles and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work with stakeholders on complex matters and support complaint investigations
- Help with recruitment, induction and training for new staff and casuals
About you
What matters most is your drive to create a brighter future that benefits all. Through our core principles of excellence, ethics and engagement, you’ll thrive on seeing the direct and lasting impact you’ll have on every community and every future.
You will also have:
- Strong organisation and communication skills, with a practical problem‑solving mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team environment and using digital tools
- Experience in a busy customer service or student support environment
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders
