What believers are saying

  • Moffitt Speros opened January 26, 2026, proving Hammes executes flagship oncology campuses.
  • Wellstar Kennestone's 300,000-square-foot tower reached final move on July 23, 2026.
  • FIU's Shaham Academic Medical Center broke ground May 27, 2026, extending Hammes' pipeline.

What critics are saying

  • Hammes depends on a few marquee health systems; losing Moffitt or Wellstar hurts throughput.
  • FIU's Shaham Medical Center targets late 2027; permitting or contractor slippage will compress margins.
  • If hospital clients internalize project management, Hammes loses its referral engine and core franchise.

What makes Hammes unique

  • Hammes ranked No. 1 healthcare developer in Modern Healthcare 2026, its 22nd first-place finish.
  • Hammes delivers complex oncology and academic medical projects, including Moffitt Speros and FIU/Baptist.
  • Hammes bundles strategy, development, investment, and property management into one healthcare platform.
