Requirements
  • A technical degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Power Electronics, or alternatively Mechanical Engineering.
  • A proven successful track record introducing power products to new international clients and driving key people across the organization.
  • At least 5 years of successful technical sales experience in an electrical equipment environment.
  • Good knowledge of at least one of the following industry sectors: high voltage, railway traction systems, power transmission and distribution, renewable energy, or e-mobility.
  • Interest and ability to understand direct-current and alternating-current power systems and corresponding product needs.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop convincing communication strategies based on technical rationale.
  • Proven ability to think creatively, identify problems, and resolve them.
  • Experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral English and native Italian.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
Responsibilities
  • Develop the business by prospecting new clients and managing current accounts for existing and new products across railway, renewable energy, and industrial applications.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, product line managers, product development teams, marketing, and other business units.
  • Prepare and organize key business meetings with prospective clients to develop business opportunities.
  • Provide market feedback to product development teams and after-sales support.
  • Identify market opportunities in railway, industrial, and renewable energy applications and guide the development of new business segments and the product roadmap.
  • Develop business cases for individual products in strong cooperation with product line managers and the sales team.
  • Prepare product launch and market placement plans in cooperation with marketing, sales, and product line managers.
  • Provide technical expertise, drive customer-oriented activities, implement company strategies, and introduce products on future platforms.
  • Analyze customer requests and needs and ensure clients receive firm offers for products, solutions, and services according to their needs and technical specifications in a timely manner.
  • Develop after-sales services.
  • Act as the local site coordinator for the Milan office, including ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations and a positive employee and visitor experience.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace-related matters.
  • Oversee office supplies, workspace management, event coordination, and internal communications.
  • Ensure compliance with local workplace policies, health and safety requirements, and company procedures, partnering with relevant stakeholders on operational and compliance-related needs.
  • Exercise local signature authority for designated administrative, contractual, and compliance-related documentation.
  • Work in strong collaboration with other departments.
