Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Lead, prioritize, and structure content development for the modality in the region.
  • Identify and prioritize operational needs, including content creation for NPIs and Clinical Education Specialist coaching and development, in collaboration with the Global Modality team and the regional Training Leader.
  • Create and deploy educational content using PowerPoint, Articulate 360, Vyond, and Camtasia.
  • Manage and maintain documentation and content repositories, including content management systems, and ensure content is organized and accessible.
  • Act as a modality subject-matter expert for the content approval process.
  • Lead content translation processes.
  • Support Learning Management System content upload and maintenance.
  • Maintain modality expertise and working product knowledge onsite and virtually to understand customer needs and identify improvements.
  • Explore and test current technology approaches and implement relevant approaches to improve customer engagement and content productivity.
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance with the company style guide and voice across content deliverables.
  • Enable Clinical Education Specialist adoption of a digital training approach through training, coaching, and demonstration.
  • Provide mentoring and support remotely or face to face to the wider Clinical Education Department team where needed.
  • Collaborate with modality partners, stakeholders, and peers to create digital education approaches, tools, content, and programs aligned with business needs, customer needs, and current capabilities.
  • Support and improve existing digital education initiatives and programs.
  • Activate the virtual appetite within the modality or segment and showcase solutions to internal and external audiences.
  • Deliver online training and troubleshooting sessions when necessary to ensure customers' safe and effective use of GE HealthCare equipment, maximizing image quality and productivity.
  • Partner with global product and engineering teams to integrate digital and virtual clinical expertise and customer insights into future product development.
  • Serve as a link between the International Clinical Education community and the Global or Region modality and ensure commercial and marketing messages are conveyed in the field.
  • Influence region and modality clinical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Seek feedback from internal and external stakeholders and apply continuous improvement.
  • Support the operations and business needs of the Clinical Education Department.
  • Develop customer intimacy to engage key opinion leaders in education initiatives.
  • Collaborate across functions to support conferences, symposiums, and webinars representing GE HealthCare.
  • Demonstrate a quality mindset and maintain and implement processes as part of the Quality Management System.
  • Proactively escalate customer issues and needs to the relevant level in the organization.

GE HealthCare launches Invenia ABUS Prime and StreamVue for breast cancer screening

GE HealthCare has launched Invenia ABUS Prime and ABUS StreamVue, expanding its breast imaging portfolio with solutions for supplemental screening in women with dense breasts. The Invenia ABUS Prime system has been installed at BeSound in Los Angeles, marking one of the first US installations. ABUS StreamVue is a browser-based reading solution enabling remote exam review across imaging networks. The system received FDA 510(k) clearance and CE Marking. Studies show 40% of women have dense breasts, carrying four to six times higher breast cancer risk. Research indicates mammography may miss one-third of cancers in dense breasts. Invenia ABUS Prime features AI-enabled tools including Scan Quality Assessment and can increase scan speed by up to 40%. The AI Assistant has demonstrated a 33% reduction in reading time.

GE HealthCare beats profit estimates on imaging demand and $129M tariff refunds

GE HealthCare exceeded Wall Street's second-quarter profit estimates, driven by robust demand for diagnostic and imaging devices and tariff refunds from the Trump administration. The medical device maker reported net income of $561 million, up from $486 million last year, which included $129 million in tariff refunds. Revenue reached $5.30 billion for the quarter ending 30 June, surpassing the estimated $5.26 billion. Sales in imaging devices grew 7.9%, whilst pharmaceutical diagnostics jumped 15.6%. Organic revenue grew 3.5%, driven by strength in Pharmaceutical Diagnostics and Advanced Imaging Solutions. Patient Care Solutions revenue declined 13.5% year-on-year. Adjusted EBIT margin came in at 14.2%, down 40 basis points from the prior year. Shares jumped 9% premarket following the release. GE HealthCare reaffirmed its full-year guidance, projecting organic revenue growth of 3.0% to 4.0% and adjusted EPS between $4.80 and $5.00.

GE CEO Larry Culp has orchestrated what many industry leaders consider the greatest corporate turnaround in modern business history.
