  • Minimum of 2 years of related field experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in Mechanical Piping, Process Piping, and/or Plumbing trades.
  • Current proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, Autodesk Navisworks Manage, Autodesk BIM 360 Glue, and Autodesk BIM 360 Docs platforms.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, BOX, and Smartsheet.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace including Docs, Gmail, Sheets, and Forms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Workspace including Word and Excel.
  • Proficiency in the application of applicable local, state, and international building codes.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, and color recognition.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time to regional branch offices.
  • Willingness to potentially relocate to one of the company's main, branch, or satellite office locations.
Responsibilities
  • Perform and lead Mechanical Piping, Process Piping, and Plumbing detailing efforts on assigned projects to facilitate productive, safe, and cost-effective installations.
  • Model and coordinate projects from start to finish utilizing Virtual Construction Standards and Industry Best Practices.
  • Streamline layout and routing to reduce fitting usage and identify design flaws.
  • Extract necessary information from contract documents including plans, specifications, and submittals.
  • Utilize 3D Revit and 3D Computer-Aided Design for modeling and coordination.
  • Attend project coordination meetings to collaborate with the Building Information Modeling Coordination team and Management team.
  • Create layout point files for Trimble and Topcon systems.
  • Provide assistance to detailers on various aspects of assigned projects.
  • Maintain communication with Project Managers, Field General Foremen, fabrication shops, partnering contractors, and external building trades.
  • Post models to client File Transfer Protocol sites, maintain logs, and create Request for Information documentation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Dynamo, Forge, Python, Revit Application Programming Interface, C#, VB.net, or F#.
  • Completion of Trade School.
  • Proficiency in the Spanish language.
