  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop training programs, conduct security drills, and educate staff on security protocols
  • Experience in incident management and crisis response coordination
  • Ability to create and enforce standard operating procedures for security operations

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, security software, and reporting tools

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
  • Monitor and assess real-time security threats, incidents, and emerging risks
  • Lead and develop a team of security operators to maintain a proactive security posture
  • Coordinate emergency response efforts and communicate effectively with key stakeholders
  • Implement and enhance security protocols, leveraging the latest technology
  • Supervise GSOC Officers – Manage, train, and provide guidance to GSOC personnel to ensure efficient operations
  • Schedule & assign tasks – Oversee shift scheduling, workload distribution, and task assignments to maintain 24/7 security coverage
  • Quality control – Ensure all reports, logs, and security responses meet organizational standards
  • Communication & coordination – Serve as a key point of contact between GSOC, internal departments, law enforcement, emergency responders, and contract security management/security management
  • System maintenance & upgrades – Work with IT teams to maintain and enhance security technologies, including video surveillance, access control, and monitoring tools
  • Informs (without delay) the security manager and security management of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems
  • Process optimization – Continuously improve security protocols, response strategies, and risk mitigation procedures
  • Training & drills – Conduct initial GSOC Officer training, security awareness training, emergency drills, and simulation exercises
  • Incident management and crisis response coordination
  • Create and enforce standard operating procedures for security operations
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills for security incidents and compliance audits
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, security software, and reporting tools
  • Typing 55-65 words per minute
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) or Security Operations Center (SOC) environment is highly desirable
