About the role

We're looking for a mid-level Designer to create visuals and marketing assets across everything Bandsintown does — our consumer app used by 100M+ fans, our platforms for artists and live event professionals, and our new line of live experiences. You’ll join the Creative team, reporting to our Sr. Design Manager.

This is a design role with a strategic edge. Beyond executing briefs, you’ll help shape the concepts behind them — developing campaign directions, proposing content ideas, and taking ideas from concept to finished asset. You’ll work autonomously and collaborate directly with stakeholders across marketing and product.

This is a hybrid role based in Madrid. You’ll work mostly remotely, with access to our coworking space in central Madrid whenever you want to collaborate in person. Onboarding takes place at our main office in Montreal, where you’ll spend your first weeks getting to know the team.

What you'll do

• Concept and design assets across channels, including digital ads, landing pages, email campaigns, social media assets, presentations, OOH, and more ;
• Create polished, on-brand graphics and video with AI tools, such as Midjourney, Luma, Flora, and Claude Design ;
• Build and manage landing pages in Wix Studio and similar tools ;
• Pitch creative concepts for campaigns — not just execute briefs — and judge ideas on whether they look great, are scalable, and will perform ;
• Manage multiple projects at once and move them forward autonomously: source content and feedback, communicate directly with stakeholders, and make sure deliverables meet the brief ;
• Analyze how your assets perform and use what you learn to make the next ones better ;
• Initiate internal design initiatives that streamline team processes, libraries, and workflows (including Figma administration).

Who you are

• 3+ years of experience as a Graphic or Visual Designer, with a strong portfolio across digital and traditional media ;
• Highly proficient in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite ;
• Skilled at graphic and video creation with AI tools such as Midjourney or Runway, plus strong motion design skills — both are core to this role ;
• A keen aesthetic sense and high level of taste — you can concept, strategize, and articulate the "why" behind your design choices ;
• Native-level proficiency in English and Spanish; French is a highly valued asset ;
• Basic copywriting skills — enough to draft a headline or ad copy when needed — are a strong plus ;
• Proactive and detail-obsessed, comfortable with autonomy, and able to communicate ideas simply and persuasively ;
• Based in or willing to relocate to Madrid, with flexibility to travel to Montreal for onboarding.
