Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
  • High proficiency in coding with Python, Golang or other similar languages
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems
  • Experience working with large-scale orchestration systems on multi-node cluster architectures
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and value end-to-end ownership of projects
  • Intellectually curious and open to challenges
  • Experience working with a major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with Amazon EKS, Azure AKS and/or Google GKE
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, etc
  • Experience building and/or maintaining observability stacks such as Datadog, New Relic, AWS Cloudwatch, etc
  • Strong experience with modern container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, Mesos, Swarm
  • Experience working with service meshes such as Istio, Consul or Linkerd
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop abstraction over services in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Design and develop solutions using containers and modern orchestration systems
  • Manage and expand our multi-region, interconnected Kubernetes cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (we use Terraform)
  • Build and maintain highly scalable and user friendly observability systems
  • Design cloud components to operate in a secure, cost-efficient and reliable manner
  • Be a force multiplier by sharing infrastructure knowledge and advocating for best practices across the entire organization
  • Work with architects, product managers, and software engineers across teams in a highly collaborative environment
