Requirements
  • Must be a registered and licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the state of operations.
  • Have 2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience with a patient- and customer-focused approach.
  • Be able to learn and understand cannabinoids and how they interact with the human body.
  • Have previous experience utilizing point-of-sale technology systems.
  • Have working knowledge of inventory and sales reporting.
  • Be highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense, and resourcefulness.
  • Adapt and thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a high level of critical thinking.
  • Operate with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including when dealing with confidential information.
  • Understand and comply with Green Thumb's rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Have a solid understanding of cannabis laws, rules, and regulations and a commitment to furthering understanding of the industry and its laws.
  • Meet scheduling and availability requirements to meet business needs.
  • Pass all required background checks.
  • Remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be approved by the state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry.
Responsibilities
  • Be in-store throughout the scheduled shift to allow for dispensing cannabis products.
  • Assess patient certification to monitor restrictions and, when appropriate, help patients determine the best course of treatment.
  • Drive retail sales and patient retention.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and federal and state laws.
  • Communicate restrictions to the dispensary team to ensure limitations on product selection and quantity are followed.
  • Provide timely and accurate medication information to patients by phone and in person.
  • Educate new and existing patients about the properties and benefits of cannabis.
  • Consult patients and assess their certification to recommend the best course of treatment.
  • Stay current on research and information related to cannabis and marijuana.
  • Assist with additional dispensary tasks as directed by the store manager, including accepting product deliveries and returns, inventory control, employee training, fulfilling online orders, and completing patient orders at registers.

Green Thumb opens 24th Florida cannabis dispensary in Port St. Lucie

Green Thumb Industries has opened its 24th Florida location, RISE Dispensary Port St. Lucie, on 22 August. The cannabis retail chain now operates over 120 stores across the United States. Located at 2092 NW Courtyard Circle, the dispensary serves medical patients on Florida's Treasure Coast. It operates from 9am to 8pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sundays. The store offers products from Green Thumb's portfolio, including RYTHM flower and concentrates, Dogwalkers pre-rolls, and Doctor Solomon's tinctures. A grand opening event is scheduled for 7 September. Following RISE's tradition, profits from the grand opening will benefit Arc of the Treasure Coast, a nonprofit supporting people with disabilities.

Green Thumb Industries opened its 13th Nevada location, RISE Dispensary Sparks, on 18 August. The store is located at 1530 S. Stanford Way, Suite B-6 #102, Sparks, NV 89431, near I-80 in South Sparks. RISE Dispensary Sparks will serve both medical patients and adult-use customers from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The shop offers home delivery on orders of $50 or more and stocks Green Thumb's product portfolio, including RYTHM premium flower, Dogwalkers pre-rolls, incredibles chocolates, Beboe gummies, and &Shine vapes. A grand opening event is scheduled for 5 September at 8 a.m. Following company tradition, first-day profits will benefit Food Bank of Northern Nevada. A grand opening event is scheduled for 5 September, with a portion of profits benefiting The Grateful Veteran, a nonprofit supporting veterans and first responders. Green Thumb entered the Florida market in 2018 and operates two production facilities in the state, in Ocala and Homestead.
