- Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant.
- Perform medical assistant duties approximately 90% of the time and phlebotomist duties approximately 10% of the time.
- Float to a different clinic within Kansas City when needed.
- Work 12-hour shifts during the week and 9-hour shifts on weekends.
- Assist providers and the nursing team in delivering professional medical care.
- Perform pre-visit planning, room patients, obtain vital signs, use the electronic medical record system, scan and download documents, administer injections, coordinate vaccines, conduct telephone screening using protocols, perform phlebotomy, and assist with procedures as needed.
- Cover front office duties as needed.
