Job Description:
Ready to put your skills to work on Technical, Architectural, and/or Engineering projects? Are you great with people and have a willingness to work hard to get the job done? This role would be based our of our Markham, ONT office, (hybrid availability)
Role:
Under minimal supervision, assists in the development of Signage and Wayfinding programs. Utilizes current design technology and computer software packages to prepare wayfinding and signage proposals, programs and presentations.
This is an entry level position the incumbent will be capable of completing and performing design assignments in REVIT (and BIM would be a bonus).
Responsibilities:
Undertakes signage and wayfinding tasks. Assists in the development of signage and wayfinding programs for large-scale Transportation Projects.
Work directly with the signage team and associated discipline members to provide project-specific signage and wayfinding solutions with accuracy of expression, clarity, and consistency within the parameters of the defined work. Work with our functional team to complete assignments according to schedule.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Graphic Design or certificate of completion from an accredited design/graphics course (or equivalent work experience) is preferred, but not essential, and also 1 to 2 + years of related work experience with use of Adobe Suite, CAD, REVIT in the development of the work would be preferred but is also not essential, However aptitude for completing detailed, varied, and simultaneous design assignments and a commitment to meet schedule requirements is necessary.
