  • 10+ years of experience implementing vehicle controllers, based on classical and modern control theory
  • Masters or PhD preferred in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related area or 5+ years industry experience in controls for automotive systems is preferred
  • Thorough understanding of linear/non-linear control theory (MPC, LQR, PID, etc), kinematics, and mechanical system dynamics is preferred
  • Experience with C/C++ development
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
  • Experience in implementing, using, debugging high-fidelity dynamical simulators
  • Experience in embedded system development
  • Experience in vehicle dynamics
  • Experience with Vector tools e.g. CANalyzer / CANape / CANoe
  • Familiar with Automotive SPICE and ISO26262
  • Up to 10% traveling needed
  • Identify technical requirements, collaborating with partnering teams and drive completion of features and projects
  • Help define the roadmap and architecture
  • Help create project proposals and designs that span multiple subsystems
  • Understand and explain trade-offs, complex concepts to peers and leaders to drive decisions
