Requirements
  • MD degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certified or active candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology, eligible for Kansas and Missouri medical license.
Responsibilities
  • Clinical effort will be in the range of 50 - 80% in combination with work in other academic and service missions for a 1.0 FTE position.
  • Maintain a gynecologic oncology practice. Write referral letters and documentation for patient records as appropriate.
  • The patient-care duties will involve training of medical students, residents and fellows.
  • Provide lectures as assigned to faculty, fellows, residents and students.
  • Initiate and participate in research studies, as well as quality improvement programs related to the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the subspecialty of Gynecologic Oncology.
  • Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of the institution.
  • An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in gynecologic oncology with experience in minimally invasive surgery highly desired.
