Requirements
  • Experience analyzing and resolving business problems and client requirements requiring organizational change.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, maintain, and enhance Security Reference Data applications to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data to downstream systems.
  • Analyze, debug, and optimize complex Java programs, Perl scripts, SQL stored procedures, and Unix shell scripts supporting application performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather requirements and translate functional and technical specifications for implementing solutions.
  • Support data onboarding from market data providers such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and FactSet to ensure seamless integration, data accuracy, and improved coverage.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for data enrichment, quality improvement, and automation.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial instrument data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Lead and participate in testing, including test case development, unit testing, and integration testing, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Design and implement automated frameworks to validate data processing and application functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards by incorporating necessary controls into reference data workflows.
  • Document processes, technical designs, and solutions to promote knowledge sharing and operational transparency.
  • Oversee end-to-end project activities, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and status reporting.
  • Monitor and support production systems, ensuring uptime and rapid incident resolution.
  • Identify and analyze business problems and client requirements that require organizational change.
  • Develop business requirements addressing business problems and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Support the creation of business cases justifying investment in proposed solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
  • Support reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Create operational and process designs to ensure proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
  • Support change-management activities, including developing a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organization.

Supermarket Income REIT secures $565M debt refinancing to cut costs and extend maturity

Supermarket Income REIT has secured a £445 million debt refinancing to lower borrowing costs and extend average debt maturity. The new facilities comprise a £375 million syndicate and £70 million bilateral arrangement, replacing all existing unsecured loan facilities maturing over the next two years. The refinancing includes four facilities ranging from three to five years, all with two one-year extension options. The average margin across facilities is 1.18% above the Sterling Overnight Index Average, delivering annual interest cost savings of approximately £300,000. The REIT has added Lloyds Bank and ABN AMRO as new banking partners whilst retaining relationships with Barclays, HSBC UK, ING and The Royal Bank of Scotland. The refinancing increases the group's weighted average debt maturity from 2.9 years to 3.8 years.
