  • 7-10 years experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in the payments industry, with a strong focus on instant payments systems.
  • Extensive experience with ISO 20022 messaging standards and their application in payment systems.
  • Deep understanding of payment processing, instant payments, and financial messaging standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including hands-on experience with tools like Jira or Confluence.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand product requirements and define the ‘what’ during product development.
  • Be a passionate advocate of the product vision and act as the voice of the customer throughout the development cycle.
  • Manage prioritisation of the product backlog to be continually aligned to business value.
  • Ensure the product backlog is visible to stakeholders to ensure transparency.
  • Accept completed epics and stories according to the Definition of Done.
  • Act as knowledge broker to resolve blockers.
  • Responsible for developing inspiring platform/product visions, features derived from business needs, market opportunities, and technology trends.
  • Using the Working Backwards method, decomposes business requirements and customer experiences into features and functions that drive the platform/product roadmap.
  • Works with Technical Program Managers, Developers, designers, and internal customers to define the details behind the business requirements.
  • Collects and shares user stories with engineering teams.
  • Acts as the voice of the business customer and accountable for the platform services.
  • Drive quality in the teamwork performed.
  • Acquire subject matter expertise and provide thought leadership in our products, customers and processes, to drive excellence in our services.
  • Communicate effectively on delivery, product status and be pro-active in identifying risk and managing escalations on complex issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholder groups, including customers, product, delivery, support, and operational teams at all organisational levels, internal and external with a mix of in person and remote collaboration.
  • Lead and contribute to effective presentations and workshops.
  • Lead and provide structured Product Ownership to support complex change, problem and incident management processes.
  • Own and review product artefacts to communicate the backlog, sprint and release scope.
  • Assesses projects and assigns resources, managing workload.
  • Own and develop team tasks, planning, reporting, approaches, and methods.
  • Support the other product and delivery teams through plan, build and release, to achieve a quality outcome.
  • Liaise between business and IT, Product architects and across functions to ensure that solutions are appropriate, meet stakeholders needs and are aligned with roadmaps and governance.

Concur To Get Generative Ai Assistant From Sap

SAP will be embedding its generative artificial intelligence assistant Joule into its expense management platform Concur, bringing it a step closer to becoming fully automated.Joule, which is expected to be available in the second quarter of this year as part of Concur Expense, aims to help answer questions from employees using the tool as they file expense reports, thereby reducing effort. It also should be able to make a timeline of expenses, check for mistakes and missing expenses and to make recommendations on how to finish the report. The AI copilot will also be made available in Concur Travel, the corporate travel management solution, and is anticipated to be available later this year though it is live now in the SAP Early Adopter Care program. In Concur Travel, Joule is meant to assist with location planning for meetings held offsite, including recommendation generation and flight and hotel cost estimations.The AI agent news came alongside a slew of announcements at the SAP Concur Fusion event in Seattle this week.“At SAP Concur, we’re creating a world where travel and expenses practically manage themselves,” said Chris Juneau, senior vice president at SAP and head of product marketing at SAP Concur. “We continue to deliver on that journey with these touchless experiences enabled by industry-leading generative AI and close partnerships with top payment providers.”SAP Concur also revealed it is expanding its partnership with American Express in an effort to streamline expense management for shared customers of the two brands. Mastercard And Virgin Money Team To Expand Uk Open Banking

British bank Virgin Money has launched an open banking-focused partnership with Mastercard. The collaboration will let Virgin Money customers view all their credit card and current account balances and transactions from any provider on the company’s credit card app, Virgin Money said in a news release provided to PYMNTS Monday (March 17). The solution, powered by Mastercard’s open banking technology, lets Virgin Money’s 6.6 million U.K. customers manage their accounts in a single and convenient place, the release added
