Requirements
  • Professional, friendly, and composed demeanor—must represent REVELxp and partner universities in a positive light.
  • Customer-service focused approach; must maintain a welcoming yet firm presence.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately to unexpected situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document and report incidents effectively.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Comfortable being on your feet and patrolling for extended periods.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and manage light equipment as needed.
  • Capable of working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first line of defense in protecting REVELxp tailgate sites and equipment.
  • Monitor activity, deter unwelcomed guests, and help ensure the safety and security of all guests and assets on site.
  • Perform routine security checks and patrols throughout the tailgate area.
  • Monitor guest entry points and allow access only to pre-approved vendors and personnel.
  • Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the tailgate site unless pre-arranged and cleared through the designated REVELxp point of contact.
  • Confirm that all secured items are locked and properly stored throughout the day.
  • Report any suspicious activity, damages, missing items, or abnormalities within the tailgate zone.
  • Conduct spot-check inventory counts to ensure items remain accounted for.
  • Escalate emergency issues by contacting Campus Police, followed by notifying your REVELxp point of contact.
