Kensho applies artificial intelligence and machine learning to finance and business data. Its tools analyze unstructured data, transcribe and structure audio and text, and provide analytics to reveal insights. A core offering is an LLM-ready API that lets users query S&P Global datasets using natural language and integrate with AI models like GPT and Claude. The platform combines scalable machine intelligence with data enrichment to transform enterprise information for knowledge workers, whether in government or commercial institutions. Kensho differentiates itself by using its data assets from S&P Global, a focus on financial and enterprise analytics, and a scalable API that enables natural-language querying over large datasets and structured outputs. Its goal is to help clients make data-driven decisions by turning complex data into accessible, actionable insights.

Simplify Jobs

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • September 3, 2026 added remote MCP support, expanding distribution through agentic AI tools.
  • Kensho MCP Apps beta and Figure Extraction deepen product breadth across research workflows.
  • S&P Global’s Cohere partnership and AI Data Portal increase enterprise reach for Kensho data.

What critics are saying

  • S&P Global’s July 2026 reorg makes Kensho a delivery layer, not an autonomous business.
  • Bloomberg, LSEG, and FactSet bundle AI into entrenched workflows, compressing Kensho pricing power.
  • If S&P Global standardizes AI data access, Kensho’s standalone identity disappears by 2027.

What makes Kensho unique

  • S&P Global’s trusted datasets power Kensho’s deterministic and adaptive AI retrieval layers.
  • Kensho now embeds directly inside Claude and MCP workflows, reducing friction for analysts.
  • Kensho Link reaches 70 million entities, spanning multilingual mapping across public and private companies.

Classiq expands in Taiwan via go-to-market partnerships with Scientek and Kensho.

Classiq expands in Taiwan via go-to-market partnerships with Scientek and Kensho. Quantum software engineering platform Classiq Technologies has entered into dual market development agreements in Taiwan with technology distributors Scientek Corporation (a Zen Voce company) and Kensho. Timed alongside SEMICON Taiwan 2026, the partnerships establish local distribution, customer enablement, and joint application R&D channels across Taiwan's semiconductor manufacturing, defense, material science, and academic research ecosystems. Bridging hardware infrastructure and software synthesis. While Taiwan continues to expand access to physical quantum processing hardware, translating domain expertise into executable quantum code requires high-level design automation. Classiq's hardware-agnostic platform uses AI synthesis engine capabilities and its high-level Qmod programming language to automatically convert functional domain models into optimized, hardware-executable circuits across superconducting, neutral-atom, trapped-ion, and photonic architectures. * Scientek Channel Strategy: As an established distributor of dilution refrigerators (Bluefors), quantum control electronics (Qblox), and superconducting systems (IQM), Scientek bridges physical QPU installations with Classiq's circuit synthesis and optimization software stack. Focus areas center on semiconductor process optimization, yield analysis, and advanced material simulation. * Kensho Channel Strategy: Leveraging decades in factory automation, silicon photonics inspection, and co-organizing national initiatives like the Q2T Taiwan Quantum Computing Forum alongside the Institute for Information Industry (III), Kensho targets defense organizations, chemical enterprises, and government agencies evaluating quantum optimization. Strategic regional positioning at SEMICON Taiwan 2026. The dual partnerships position Classiq within Taiwan's semiconductor value chain, combining high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence infrastructure with quantum application workflows. Both collaborations feature technical demonstrations during SEMICON Taiwan 2026 (TaiNEX 1 & 2), exhibiting hybrid quantum-classical execution, cost benchmarking, and algorithm synthesis.
