Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Services and two years of experience working with the relevant population.
  • Completion of a criminal background check, registry checks, drug testing, education verification, and other position-based credentialing.
  • Proof of employment history or references if required.
  • For positions requiring transportation, proof of a driver's license, driver's insurance, and an appropriate vehicle.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health needs, or substance use issues in the START Program.
  • Provide community-based intervention and prevention services to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health care needs.
  • Collaborate with all team members as part of integrated care and treatment.
  • Participate in collaborative contacts, after-hours contacts, emergency team meetings, planned respite, and emergency respite.
  • Work with families and individuals on identified needs and skills.
  • Develop strategies and tools to help individuals improve coping mechanisms and overall well-being.
  • Remain self-motivated and manage time efficiently.
