Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience is considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience is required, including direct experience supporting construction, real estate development, or related industries.
  • Experience sourcing hard-to-fill and passive talent using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, competitor mapping, and direct outreach independently of inbound applicant flow is required.
  • Success recruiting Project Managers, Project Superintendents, Preconstruction, or similar construction positions is required.
  • Experience operating in a high-volume, multi-market environment and supporting recruiting across multiple business lines is required.
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate as a strategic business partner is required.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels are required.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate market and recruiting insights into clear action are required.
  • The ability to balance day-to-day execution with long-term talent planning is required.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, influencing, consultative, data analysis, and presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle for construction roles from intake through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff.
  • Manage high-volume and specialized requisitions concurrently across multiple markets and project pipelines.
  • Support recruiting needs across other departments and business lines as enterprise hiring demand requires.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, interview strategy, and candidate profile expectations.
  • Deliver a high-touch, professional, and consistent candidate experience at every stage.
  • Advise Construction leaders and leaders across other departments by aligning recruiting strategy with business goals, project timelines, and workforce plans.
  • Facilitate intake and kickoff meetings to assess workforce needs, project demands, and market challenges while setting expectations and shared accountability.
  • Provide guidance on compensation positioning, market conditions, competitor activity, and hiring strategy.
  • Challenge and influence leaders through data-driven insights while maintaining strong partnerships.
  • Build and maintain proactive pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill construction roles.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies using industry networks, referrals, trade associations, construction communities, competitor mapping, market intelligence, LinkedIn Recruiter, direct sourcing, and networking.
  • Cultivate talent communities to support future hiring needs, reduce time-to-fill, and strengthen NRP's competitive position in key markets.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers on interview best practices, candidate evaluation, and structured hiring processes.
  • Develop and implement role-specific interview guides and consistent selection criteria.
  • Apply behavioral interviewing techniques in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Elevate leaders' ability to make strong and defensible hiring decisions.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, offer acceptance rate, source effectiveness, and early-tenure turnover, to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to HR and business leadership on hiring progress, market dynamics, and forecasted gaps.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements across sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Improve recruiting workflows, communication cadence, and candidate engagement.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, onboarding, and background screening partners to ensure a seamless candidate-to-employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, applicable employment laws, and federal, state, and equal employment opportunity regulations.
  • Support employer branding efforts within construction talent markets in partnership with marketing and HR.
  • Work in a hybrid office environment based at a regional office and travel occasionally for project site visits, market hiring events, candidate meetings, and industry conferences.

The NRP Group, a multifamily housing developer and manager, has appointed Taylor Lindsley as Vice President of Development for Florida. Lindsley will lead new project origination and develop market-rate opportunities across the state, reporting to Senior Vice President Brett Gelsomino. Lindsley brings extensive commercial real estate development experience across multifamily, industrial and retail sectors in Florida. He previously served as Development Manager at Milhaus, overseeing the full lifecycle of multifamily projects including land acquisition, entitlements and construction delivery. He also managed industrial and retail developments at Wadsworth Development Group in Arizona.
