  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of regulatory, compliance, and/or legal experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent background.
  • Proven healthcare industry experience and knowledge.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Customer-centered with an initiative to respond, resolve, and follow-up on requests and needs in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage and appropriately prioritize multiple projects at once with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Preferred Certifications: Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP).
  • Ability to travel up to 5% for internal meetings or professional development conferences (1-2x per year).
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for internal and external audit and monitoring activities, including routine external compliance audits, internal reviews of compliance, and required exclusion screenings.
  • Manages compliance oversight of providers, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitors and evaluates compliance and enforcement trends and government oversight of healthcare activities.
  • Collaborates in the creation of required and ad hoc company compliance trainings.
  • Helps create and host Annual Compliance Week.
  • Assists with the conduction of the annual risk assessment and creation of the forthcoming year’s compliance plan.
