  • Must be able to demonstrate strong proficiency in testing one or more of the following areas: IPv4 and IPv6 routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRRP, PIM, MPLS, RSVP, etc.
  • Security Testing, IPSEC, VPN, Firewall Testing
  • Strong python programming and automation experience is a requirement.
  • Good experience in Python or equivalent scripting language is an added advantage.
  • Strong data networking concepts.
  • Working Knowledge of L2 protocols (STP/MSTP/RSTP, 802.1q/ad/aq, 802.3ah, 802.1ag/Y.1731) (Ethernet OAM/CFM)
  • Working Knowledge of Layer3 Protocols – IPv4/IPv6, OSPFv2/v3, ISIS, BGP4, IGMP, PIMSM/SSM
  • Strong Knowledge of product verification methodologies and strategies.
  • Experience in performance and throughput testing
  • Experience in working with test tools like Ixia, Smartbits, STC and packet sniffers.
  • Experience in scripting languages like Perl, Tcl and Tk.
  • Experience in test case management tools like qTest.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate/develop new test tools.
  • Analyze third party vendors and technologies.
  • Translate feature requirements to test cases and test automation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Exposure to system test automation is highly desired.
  • Experience in scripting languages like Perl, Tcl and Tk.
  • Exposure to VxLAN, L2VPN (Pseudowire, VPLS) and L3VPN (BGP/MPLS VPN) technologies.
