We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven leader to join our team as the Group Manager | Survey in Cranberry Township, PA. The Group Manager | Survey is a dynamic leader with a servant leadership mindset that is responsible for cultivating a coaching culture and ensuring high standards in project execution and client satisfaction. 

The Group Manager | Survey will oversee surveying operations within the Cranberry Township office, ensuring projects are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with industry standards. They will manage a team of surveyors and technicians, provide technical oversight, and maintain quality control of deliverables. The role involves coordinating with internal and external clients, developing project scopes and budgets, and ensuring proper use of surveying technology. They will oversee staff development, as well as evaluate and implement new technologies to improve project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Coaching: Inspire and coach group members to enhance our employee-owner culture and drive engagement in their professional development
• Project Management: Ensure timely and superior project delivery while collaborating across service groups
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships and satisfaction
• Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, prioritize workloads, and ensure fiscal responsibility
• Collaboration: Work closely with Operations and Service AVPs to address staffing, resource allocation, and operational efficiency

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in survey is a plus
• Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills 
• Proficient in the use of surveying instruments and software, specifically in the Trimble hardware/software platform
• 7+ year experience across multiple survey disciplines including utilities, topographic models, construction support, boundary analysis, and land title work
• Engineering design survey experience for utilities, roadways, and structures
• Project management and project team supervisory experience
• Land Surveyor License in Pennsylvania is plus 
• Excellent computer knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and computerized project management systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint is required
• Knowledge of UAV/drone processing and laser scanning technology, such as Trimble, Leica, Pix4D, DJI Terra, and GIS products
•  Remote Pilot Certificate (drone) preferred
• Flexibility to travel including overnight travel (on average 20-30%), thus a valid driver’s license is required
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
