Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience in a similar environment is required.
  • Effective working knowledge of recruiting within an Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs environment, employment law, human resources information systems, and applicant tracking systems is required.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner and effectively drive positive hiring outcomes are required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Effective time management skills to manage multiple deadlines and the various needs of internal customers are required.
Responsibilities
  • Recruit and staff individuals for exempt, non-exempt, and temporary positions.
  • Oversee the recruitment process for high-volume manufacturing openings.
  • Manage agency partners tasked with providing a pipeline of contingent employees.
  • Coordinate the temporary-to-permanent conversion process in a timely manner.
  • Assist and consult managers with recruiting and staffing needs by studying job descriptions and qualifications and meeting with managers to discuss requirements.
  • Maintain, update, and promote career development within the organization by using the internal job posting system, external websites, and the human resources website.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications with job requirements.
  • Establish interview schedules with managers and other organization members as necessary.
  • Coordinate travel accommodations for candidates when necessary.
  • Provide support to managers in recruiting and staffing temporary personnel.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system by entering resumes and requisition information, routing or rejecting resumes, and forwarding referral payments to the payroll supervisor.
  • Prepare offer letters and ship new-hire packages.
  • Administer the Employee Referral System.
  • Maintain the Temporary Personnel Log.
  • Generate and maintain internal open and closed headcount reports.

ZOLL's Zenix monitor/defibrillator receives EU MDR approval for EMS and hospital use

ZOLL, an Asahi Kasei company manufacturing medical devices, has announced that its Zenix monitor/defibrillator received approval under the European Union Medical Device Regulation 2017/745. The device is designed for use in both emergency medical services and hospital settings. Zenix features a large touchscreen and on-the-fly customisation capabilities, allowing healthcare professionals to make real-time adjustments during critical situations. The device incorporates ZOLL's Real BVM Help and Real CPR Help technology, providing clinical feedback to improve ventilation quality and CPR delivery. According to Elijah White, president of ZOLL Acute Care Technology, virtually all device functions are accessible with three screen-touches or fewer. Zenix joins ZOLL's existing portfolio of professional monitors and defibrillators, including the X Series, R Series and M2 models.
