Requirements
  • You have at least 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or working in an operations/support position.
  • Comfortable supporting multiple executives with different leadership styles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Evidence of strong writing ability will be valued especially highly.
  • Strong organizational, project management, problem-solving skills, and multitasking abilities.
  • Friendly demeanor
  • Bonus points: You are familiar with startups.
Responsibilities
  • Administrative tasks including scheduling and calendar management. You’ll help schedule internal and external meetings, preventing conflicts and helping our Group Partners use their time efficiently.
  • Plan, execute, and attend events. You’ll be responsible for helping with the logistics of events organized at the YC office and other locations, ranging from 20 people to 200 people. You must be available to work some evenings and (rarely) on weekends. That said, hours are flexible to accommodate time spent outside of standard office hours.
  • Coordinating travel, and generally able to process ad hoc tasks expeditiously and proactively including some personal to-dos.
  • Work cross-functionally with other YC team members as needed.
  • Writing projects as needed.
