As the Head of Fraud, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud risks, safeguarding our customers’ digital identities. This pivotal role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in fraud prevention technologies and methodologies, ensuring the highest levels of security and trust for our users. • Work on multiple fraud detection and prevention strategies across the customer lifecycle to reduce risks
• Ensure the readiness of our Fraud prevention framework is aligned with expansion ambitions of the business
• Be passionate about simplifying fraud processes and enhancing fraud capabilities with a tech-forward mindset
• Bring your developed judgment skills and experience from leading travel fraud risk strategies
• Define fraud procedures to rapidly and comprehensively investigate fraudulent activity
• Provide ongoing analysis of fraud vulnerabilities, control weaknesses, and gaps to mitigate and remediate significant fraud issues, trends, and loss events via self-self BI platforms or SQL
• Identify 3rd party tools and services that will complement/augment our current controls
• Work with engineering and data science to develop fraud prevention and data detection models using transaction monitoring, behavioral analytics, and external data that effectively balance risk vs. customer friction
• Understand the importance of effective communication and consistently deliver quality results with speed
• Constant communication regarding Fraud Detection in IDs with: Governmental Authorities, Local and Global ID security institutions, Fraud Departments of Financial Institutions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working in fraud prevention and/or government related projects and companies.
• Proficient English, fluent Spanish is a big plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills, B2B partnership and interpersonal skills
• Previous work or partnerships with government agencies and bank institutions
• Bachelor’s degree could be anything: Finance, Law, Administration, Engineering, Economics, Accounting,
• Extensive knowledge of unique features and regulations on individual identification documents and their relevant data points like: MRZ, Holograms and Barcode

Bonus Skills:

• Masters Degree / MBA
• Experience growing technical talent and developing professional growth strategies for highly technical personnel
• Experience with engineering projects and database integrations
• Machine Learning Models understanding is a good plus
