Ataccama selects Martin Zahumensky as CEO to lead the company's next chapter.

Ataccama selects Martin Zahumensky as CEO to lead the company's next chapter. * August 5, 2026 Ataccama today announced the appointment of Martin Zahumensky as Chief Executive Officer. Consequently, Zahumensky assumes leadership after serving as CTO to accelerate AI-driven client initiatives. Specifically, former CEO Mike McKee steps down following three years of successful global business expansion. Overall, this executive transition aligns a veteran product leader with accelerating industry demand for data readiness. "Few leaders combine Martin's depth of technical and product knowledge with his ability to lead at scale, and fewer still have helped build a company from its earliest days," said Dewey Awad, Partner at Bain Capital Tech Opportunities and member of Ataccama's board of directors. "He knows Ataccama's customers, its technology, and its culture better than anyone, and he has been the driving force behind its AI transformation. As enterprises everywhere confront the question of whether their data is ready for AI, there is no one better positioned to lead Ataccama's next chapter of growth." Driving technology innovation and product Strategy. Furthermore, Zahumensky brings over 18 years of direct innovation experience across Ataccama business operations. Early in his career, he developed core data management systems for banking, telecom, and public sectors at Adastra. Later, he co-founded and led data monetization firm Instarea as CEO, driving rapid European growth. Subsequently, he co-founded Market Locator before returning to executive management at Ataccama in 2020. Recently, he directed digital marketing, internal AI roadmaps, and the flagship Ataccama ONE Agentic platform. "What our customers are asking for has changed," said Martin Zahumensky, CEO at Ataccama. "Two years ago, they wanted to know whether their data was clean, documented, governed and mastered. Now they want to know whether that same data can safely fuel an AI agent. That is the harder problem, and it is also the bigger market opportunity. My focus is clear: keep shipping, stay close to the customers who bet on us, and make sure that when an AI agent acts, enterprises can trust the answer because Ataccama is behind it." Additionally, Ataccama enters this leadership era backed by major global market achievements and analyst recognitions. For instance, Gartner named Ataccama a Leader in Augmented Data Quality Solutions for five consecutive years. Similarly, the firm achieved top Strategy category honors within the Q1 2026 Forrester Wave report. Furthermore, Snowflake Ventures finalized a strategic investment in Ataccama to advance trusted enterprise AI. "Mike led Ataccama through an important period scaling the business globally, building its operating processes, advancing our shift to next-generation, cloud-native agentic products, and establishing the company in North America," continued Awad. "We are grateful for his leadership and his lasting impact on the company." Ultimately, Ataccama reinforces its industry standing through deep domain expertise and product innovation. Moving forward, the company empowers global enterprises to execute reliable AI operations securely. Ataccama launches data products: Governed, trustworthy data for AI and business.

Ataccama launches data products: Governed, trustworthy data for AI and business. June 2, 2026 7 min. read * Most data product initiatives improve discoverability and ownership but leave a more important question unanswered: whether the data can actually be trusted when decisions or AI agents depend on it. * A data product without an embedded trust signal is a repackaged dataset with better documentation. * Ataccama ONE now lets you define business-aligned data products, govern them with ownership and criticality, and surface a live trust score - all from a single platform. * For teams building AI pipelines, governed data products with embedded trust signals delivered via MCP are what make AI outputs reliable, auditable, and grounded in verified context. The data product promise has a trust problem. "Data as a product" has crossed the chasm from concept to corporate initiative. The phrase appears in board-level strategy decks. It shows up in every major vendor's positioning. Organizations have been appointing data product owners, and restructuring their governance around domain ownership. Yet most data product initiatives haven't delivered what they promised. The gap isn't architectural. Organizations generally understand the model: treat data as something that needs to be built, packaged, and maintained to meet consumer needs. The failure point is almost always the same - and it rarely gets named directly. Even when governance programs are thorough, business glossaries are complete, and ownership is assigned, organizations still can't reliably answer the question that actually matters: Can this data be trusted and used with confidence, right now? This is the gap Ataccama set out to close with this launch. The industry has built sophisticated infrastructure for organizing, classifying, and describing data. What it hasn't done is make trust a first-class citizen in the data product itself; measurable, explainable, and surfaced wherever data is consumed. That changes today. What Ataccama Corporation is launching (and why it matters). Ataccama ONE now delivers trusted data products: a reusable package of data and business context, ready to be consumed under a clear contract of ownership, quality, and trust. Governance teams can now define what your critical data concepts are, tie those to business processes, govern them with clear ownership, anchor them to verified physical data, and carry a live Data Trust Index score that makes trust explicit and explainable. On top of that, through Ataccama's MCP Server, trusted data reach the AI tools and workflows your teams already use, without requiring anyone to switch context or learn a new interface. That combination matters more than it might sound. Most platforms treat data products as a cataloging and access problem. Ataccama treats them as a trust problem that also needs cataloging and access. The architecture reflects that philosophy. Here's what that looks like in practice. Business-aligned data products, not just physical assets. The foundational shift in this release is what a data product actually is in Ataccama ONE. Rather than governing physical tables and columns, organizations now define business concepts - "Customer," "Transaction," "Booking" - as first-class entities, independent of where or how the data is physically stored. A single data product maps to the relevant physical data assets across systems. Ownership, stewardship, criticality, and business context are assigned at the concept level, not scattered across dozens of tables that may not even communicate what they contain. Three new building blocks make this work: Business Processes represent real workflows in your organization - Sales Capture, Transaction Recording, Payment Matching, and more. Linking a data product to a business process answers two questions at once: where does this data come from, and what work does it support? It also introduces criticality flags, so governance teams can prioritize consistently rather than treating everything equally. Data Products Objects are the central governed objects. Each one carries a business description, assigned ownership and stewardship, criticality settings, links to the business processes that produce and consume it, and mappings to the physical data elements in the catalog. One place for the authoritative answer on what this data is and who is responsible for it. Data Domains provide organizational scoping - Finance, Customer, Operations - grouping related data products into logical structures that can mirror how your organization is actually built. They're the boundary that makes governance scalable rather than ad hoc. Together, these structures mean governance teams can govern a concept once and apply it consistently, rather than managing fragmented definitions across every system that stores a version of "Customer." Live trust scoring. The Ataccama Data Trust Index continuously scores each data product based on data quality, ownership completeness, and governance context. The score is live rather than static, and it's explainable - consumers can see exactly why a product scores the way it does, not just what the number is. This is what governance alone can never provide: a trust signal that is live, explainable, and attached to the data itself. The distinction matters particularly for regulated industries. SSEN Transmission framed this directly: "Knowing which version of a critical asset concept to trust, and being able to prove to a regulator that the answer is right, was the challenge that drove everything. Defining what a concept like "substation" means to the business, connecting it to the right data, and seeing a clear signal of whether that data is fit for use - that's the capability that makes governance defensible rather than decorative." said Susan Spence, Senior Data Product Analyst MCP Server: injecting trust signals inside AI workflows. Defining and governing data products is the foundation. But getting data trust signals and governance context into the tools and workflows where people and AI actually work is what operationalizes the value. Ataccama's MCP Server does this. It delivers live Data Trust Index scores, governance metadata, and quality signals directly into AI tools, including Claude Code, Snowflake CoCo, Snowflake CoWork, and Databricks Agent Bricks so AI systems and people can evaluate the reliability of data before acting on it. Rather than having every AI team independently assess data quality, they get verified trust signals surfaced at the point of use. This is what makes Ataccama more than a cataloging layer. When an AI tool or a business analyst query data through the MCP Server, they receive the business context, and the trust signal that governance teams have already established. The AI doesn't operate on documentation. It operates with confidence that the data it's reaching for has already been verified. For organizations where AI pipelines can't reliably distinguish a trustworthy dataset from a problematic one - and that's most organizations - this is where the risk compounds. AI scales whatever it's given. Ataccama ensures what it's given is worth scaling. Why trust is the missing layer in most data product strategies. The industry conversation about data products has been dominated by two themes: discoverability and self-service access. These are real problems worth solving, but they rest on an assumption that is frequently wrong: the underlying data is reliable enough to be worth discovering. Consider what a data product catalog looks like in an organization that hasn't addressed trust. It's a well-organized index of business concepts that may or may not be accurate, may or may not be fresh, and may or may not reflect the physical data that's actually being used. Consumers learn quickly which products can be trusted and which can't. Tribal knowledge replaces the catalog. The investment in governance delivers a fraction of its potential value. The architectural mistake is building the context layer before building the trust foundation. Ataccama's approach closes this gap. Data quality rules, profiling, and observability are connected to data products from the start. A data product in Ataccama ONE carries its trust score with it, calculated from actual measurements across data quality and governance signals rather than inferred from a steward's best judgment. Consumers can see the score, understand why, and know whether the product is currently meeting its standards. This is particularly urgent in AI contexts. A human analyst who pulls the wrong table might catch the problem - they'll see numbers that look strange, or ask someone who knows better. An AI pipeline doesn't have that judgment. It processes whatever it receives without hesitation and scales the result across every downstream output. If governance doesn't lead to quality, and quality doesn't translate into trust, the risk compounds with every AI use case an organization adds. Ataccama's trusted data products are the mechanism that breaks that chain. Get started with data products in Ataccama ONE. Data products only deliver on their promise when the data inside them can actually be trusted. Ataccama ONE gives you the structure to define them, the governance to own them, and a live trust signal that makes confidence measurable. Ready to see it in action? Ataccama launches data products and joins Open Semantic Interchange to deliver trusted context for AI on Snowflake. June 2, 2026 6 min. read New capabilities in Ataccama ONE define critical business concepts as trusted data products with trust scores delivered through Ataccama's MCP Server into Snowflake CoCo, Cortex CoWork, and enterprise AI tools. Boston, Mass. - June 2, 2026 - Ataccama, the data trust company, today announced at Snowflake's annual user conference, Snowflake Summit 26, new data product capabilities in Ataccama ONE that give enterprises a single, trusted, AI-ready version of the business data their teams and agents depend on. A Customer record, a Transaction, a Supplier, an Asset, each becomes a governed data product in Ataccama ONE with a clear owner, a verified definition, and an Ataccama Data Trust Index score that tells every team and AI agent whether that data is ready to use, delivered through Ataccama's MCP Server into Snowflake CoCo, Cortex CoWork, and enterprise AI tools. Most enterprises store data about the same thing in dozens of different systems, and those systems rarely agree. A Customer record in the CRM looks different from the one in the data warehouse, which looks different again from the one in the billing system. Definitions scatter across teams, governed inconsistently and duplicated across platforms, while modernization efforts and AI initiatives continue to widen those disconnects. Most data product programs improve ownership, discoverability, and context, helping teams understand what data means and where it comes from, but leave a more important question unanswered: whether the data can actually be trusted when decisions or AI agents depend on it. AI does not correct inconsistencies, gaps, or governance failures already embedded in the data environment. It amplifies them quickly, quietly, and at scale. Ataccama ONE addresses this by organizing data around business meaning rather than physical storage. Organizations define the data that matters most, a Customer, a Transaction, a Supplier, an Account, as a trusted data product and connect it to every dataset that holds that information across their systems. Governance, ownership, and authoritative data sources apply at that level, creating a consistent business view of data across the enterprise. The Ataccama Data Trust Index continuously scores each data product across data quality, ownership completeness, and business context, giving people and AI agents a clear, evidence-based answer about whether data is fit for use at that moment. When AI tools access those data products through Ataccama's MCP Server, they inherit governed business context and explainable Data Trust Index signals, turning governance into a trust layer the enterprise can build AI on with confidence. "Knowing which version of a critical asset concept to trust, and being able to prove to our regulator that our answer is right, was the challenge that drove everything," said Susan Spence, Senior Data Product Analyst, SSEN Transmission. "Being able to define what a critical concept like 'substation' means to the business, connect it to the right data, and see a clear signal of whether that data is fit for use is exactly the capability we needed. What we have built with Ataccama is the audit trail and the quality baseline that any future AI application will require, and that foundation gives us the confidence to move forward." Making trusted contextual data easily accessible is key for modern AI stacks. Ataccama is committed to invest in this data trust layer and is now joining the Open Semantic Interchange (OSI) as a collaborator, acting as a launch partner for Snowflake's Agentic Data Sharing program, and deepening its integration with Snowflake CoCo and Cortex CoWork through Ataccama's MCP Server. OSI alignment gives Ataccama's data products a shared semantic foundation with other participants in the ecosystem, making them portable across the tools and platforms enterprises already use. "Consistent semantics and governance are what make data products truly reusable across enterprise ecosystems," said Josh Klahr, Head of Product Management at Snowflake. "Ataccama's data products and OSI alignment ensure data can be understood, exchanged, and governed consistently across platforms, giving organizations a stronger foundation for AI at scale. Together, we are helping customers bring trusted, interoperable data directly into Snowflake so AI workflows can operate with the context, consistency, and reliability enterprise environments demand." "Most enterprises already have the data they need, but they still lack a reliable way to make that data trustworthy, interoperable, and usable wherever AI operates," said Jay Limburn, Chief Product Officer at Ataccama. "Data products create the business-aligned foundation AI depends on, but when that foundation carries a verified trust signal and works natively inside platforms like Snowflake, governance becomes more than oversight. It becomes the infrastructure that allows AI to operate with confidence across the enterprise. That is the shift Ataccama is helping organizations make, because it is ultimately what determines whether AI delivers lasting business value at scale." Key capabilities: * Business-Aligned Data Products. Organizations define the data that matters most to their business, a Customer, a Transaction, a Supplier, an Account, as a trusted data product and connect it to every dataset that holds that information across their systems. Ataccama applies ownership, business context, and criticality once at that level and propagates those controls automatically across every connected entity, so teams govern the definition once and apply it consistently everywhere it is used. * Ataccama Data Trust Index Scoring. A weighted 0-100 trust score continuously measures data quality, ownership completeness, and business context, combining signals that most platforms manage across separate tools into a single, explainable result. People and AI agents can see exactly why a data product scores the way it does, replacing pass/fail indicators with an evidence-based view of fitness for use. * MCP Server for Enterprise AI Workflows. Ataccama's MCP Server delivers live Data Trust Index signals directly into AI tools and workflows so AI systems operate on verified, governed data from deployment onward. By exposing trusted data products directly through the MCP Server, Ataccama brings governed business context and trust signals into the agentic workflows and AI applications that depend on them. * CoCo and CoWork Integration. Through Ataccama's MCP Server, CoCo consumes Ataccama Data Trust Index scores to ground AI development in governed, verified data without moving it outside the Snowflake environment, giving CoCo and CoWork users direct access to trusted data products with embedded trust signals inside their AI workflows. Snowflake's CoCo Accelerated Badge validates the integration for production-scale AI workloads. * Agentic Data Sharing with Snowflake. As a launch partner for Snowflake's Agentic Data Sharing program, Ataccama gives customers direct access to the data quality scores, governance signals, and observability findings it generates on their behalf, surfacing them in Snowflake through Cortex Agents, semantic views, and secure data sharing. Teams operationalize that intelligence across conversational and agentic workflows without building custom integration layers or moving data out of their environment. * Open Semantic Interchange Participation. OSI alignment gives Ataccama an opportunity to define and share how trusted shared semantics should flow across participating platforms, enabling organizations to move semantics-serving data products across enterprise ecosystems without losing business meaning or creating vendor lock-in. Ataccama will showcase these capabilities at Snowflake Summit, June 1-4, in San Francisco. Visit booth 2517 for live demonstrations and to speak with the team about building a data trust layer as the foundation for enterprise AI. Ataccama will also join customer-led sessions throughout the event, including: * Truist: How Truist Is Building the Data Foundation That Makes Cortex AI Possible June 3 at 2:30 p.m. PT | Session AR204 Additional information about Ataccama's data products is available at www.ataccama.com.
