Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Hold an active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Maintain current CPR certification.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and coworkers.
  • Multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety while following radiation protection and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
  • Keep exam rooms stocked, organized, and ready for patient care.
  • Schedule imaging studies and provide clear pre-procedure instructions to patients.
  • Obtain and review prior imaging studies from external facilities as needed.
  • Accurately document all procedures in the medical record.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist patients and staff with imaging-related questions.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives, compliance activities, and continuing education.
  • Maintain current CPR certification and required licensure.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance, punctuality, and professionalism.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by providers or leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • ARRT certification.
