Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, mathematics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical course of study.
  • A minimum of 6+ years of engineering or consulting experience.
  • A consultative mindset and strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills, to work directly with client multidisciplinary teams to solve problems and advance client objectives.
  • Proven systems engineering and problem-solving skills in an integrated team environment.
  • A proven track record of managing time and resources to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to define and interpret high-level requirements and trace them to product electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • A foundation in digital and analog circuit design, analysis, power conversion, and printed circuit board layout.
  • Skills in requirements verification activities.
  • The ability to make decisions and execute to the plan.
  • Experience with requirements development, management, and traceability.
  • Specialized knowledge of electrical engineering and its relationship to systems engineering.
  • Experience developing and decomposing system and subsystem requirements.
  • The ability to earn the trust of clients and influence leadership and key technical resources.
  • The ability to maintain positive and professional relationships and promote teamwork and collaboration in a diverse work environment.
  • Availability to work on-site at client facilities in the greater Seattle area.
  • Must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or person lawfully admitted to the United States as a refugee or granted asylum.
Responsibilities
  • Author technical specifications.
  • Author and modify existing certification documentation.
  • Design and certify panels used in aircraft.
  • Develop complex, high-reliability electronic hardware for aircraft.
  • Review, understand, and assess schematics to ensure that designs align with requirements.
  • Identify gaps between schematics and certification documentation.
  • Elicit and decompose requirements.
  • Allocate and track requirements.
  • Participate in process improvement.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as defense or aviation.
  • Experience working in a consulting or engineering services company.
  • Experience with the product development life cycle.
  • Experience using industry-leading requirements management tools such as DOORS Classic/DNG and JAMA.
  • Experience using Confluence and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of configuration management.
