- A Technician qualification or Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field, with good knowledge of design engineering, process engineering, or refrigeration technology.
- Very good technical understanding, preferably in HVAC or refrigeration technology.
- Sound knowledge of data-capture systems for creating repeat-part catalogs for CAD and SAP systems.
- Good knowledge of relevant European and international standards, directives, and certification procedures.
- Knowledge of U.S. standardization and certification is desirable.
- Good knowledge of creating internal company guidelines.
- Good knowledge of 3D CAD, ideally Solid Edge; product lifecycle management and bills of materials using SAP R/3 or S/4HANA; Microsoft Office 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams; and Access.
- Fluent written and spoken English and German.
- Maintain the material-classification key, including classification and integration into characteristic lists.
- Coordinate, organize, and administratively manage the administration of external standards and guidelines, including research, procurement, distribution, archiving, and comparisons between sites.
- Create documentation according to Directive 2006/42/EC using the WEKA Manager CE.
- Create and revise company standards, including defining CCR standards for all development departments in the CCR development network.
- Maintain symbols and templates in 2D CAD and standard-part models in 3D CAD using Solid Edge.
- Maintain standard texts for drawing creation in the Xlanguage database.
- Create, clean, update, classify, maintain, and administer parts catalogs.
- Provide topic-specific support to affiliated departments and train employees nationally and internationally.
- Create and administer manufacturer and conformity declarations.
- Register products in EPREL and process data in PRODBIM, the product data manager.
- Knowledge of U.S. standardization and certification.
- Skills in visualization.
