- Board certification or board eligibility in Interventional Cardiology.
- An active state medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- AHA-approved Basic Life Support certification.
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program.
- Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.
- Provide outpatient clinic care, inpatient rounding, and interventional procedures.
- Utilize advanced cardiac support devices, including Impella, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and temporary pacemakers.
- Perform approximately 125–150 diagnostic and interventional procedures per month in a high-volume interventional practice.
- Support and participate in specialized therapies for patients with refractory angina, including Enhanced External Counterpulsation.
- Engage in clinical research and participate in cardiovascular clinical trials.
- Share call responsibilities equally within the group, including a 1:4 weekend call rotation.
- Participate in resident and/or trainee education as applicable.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team with dedicated Advanced Practice Provider support.
