Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as Product Manager or equivalent role
  • Previous experience working with DS teams ideally
  • Previous experience working at an e-commerce company or marketplace

Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Together with the Data Science team and Head of Product develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap for the discovery process, aligned with the broader business objectives and customer needs
  • Feature Prioritization and Planning: Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and data analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define clear requirements and timelines for implementation, balancing customer experience, revenue, and operational efficiency
  • User Experience Optimization: Continuously improve the usability, efficiency, and effectiveness of search, inspiration and discovery flow to enhance customer satisfaction and drive conversion rates. Conduct user testing and gather feedback
  • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with data science, data analytics and engineering teams to leverage large-scale datasets and machine learning models for result ranking and personalization
  • Analytics and Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of search experience and report on the effectiveness of changes to search algorithms and data pipelines. Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, and use findings to inform product decisions and optimizations
  • Competitive Analysis and Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and competitor offerings related shopping processes. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation
  • Stakeholder Communication and Alignment: Communicate product plans, progress, and priorities to stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, sales, marketing, and customer support teams. Foster collaboration and alignment to ensure a unified approach to delivering value to our retailers, but also brands
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with international expansion or local market adaptation
  • Experience with pricing and monetization strategies
  • Experience with experimentation and A/B testing
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
  • Knowledge of privacy and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR)
  • Experience with machine learning, natural language processing or recommender systems
  • Experience with search relevance and ranking algorithms
  • Fluency in additional languages beyond French and English
