Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch, including ideation to execution and end-to-end or 0-to-1 delivery, is required.
  • Experience in online trust and safety or risk management products is required.
  • Experience launching artificial intelligence or machine learning products or features and partnering with operations, analytics, data science, and engineering is required.
Responsibilities
  • Craft and execute long-term product goals and a roadmap for the risk domain, focusing on Google's Enterprise products, including Ads, Cloud, and Workspace.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Data Science, Analytics, and vertical stakeholders to deliver a scalable product strategy.
  • Balance trade-offs between conflicting goals to prioritize the needs of Google's individual businesses and the Payments Platform.
  • Serve as a thought leader in online risk management by connecting business needs, protection against bad actors, enablement, predictive signals, machine learning, generative artificial intelligence, and platform technology.
  • Inspire and influence teams across platform and business verticals through compelling product narratives.
  • Guide products from conception to launch by connecting technical and business considerations.
  • Build the risk management function and provide product expertise and controls for Google businesses leveraging the Payments Platform.
  • Develop platform capabilities and address risk management requirements for enterprise products at scale.
  • Partner with engineers, data scientists, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders within Payments and across Google to shape, design, and execute a roadmap.
  • Advocate organizational and operational excellence, resolve cross-team ambiguities, ensure organization-wide leadership alignment, and manage team health by executing hiring goals and attrition-mitigation strategies.
  • Foster a culture of psychological safety, set expectations, and train, mentor, and challenge team members toward career milestones.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree or other advanced degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in online trust, safety, and risk management within a payments ecosystem, including processors, issuers, banks, or networks, is preferred.
  • A track record of building, inspiring, and managing high-performing product teams is preferred.
  • A track record of developing end-to-end technical roadmaps and executing projects that leverage machine learning, generative artificial intelligence tools, and enterprise products such as Cloud in conjunction with operations and external vendors is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, thought-leadership, and senior-stakeholder-management skills are preferred.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to articulate roadmaps and concepts across all levels of cross-functional teams and executive leadership, are preferred.
