  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering and leading teams
  • 12+ years of experience with SQL
  • Outstanding people skills with high emotional intelligence
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Familiarity with Databricks, Kafka, or similar technologies
  • Strong understanding of modern data stack and architectural strategies
  • Experience developing a team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience working with management to define and measure KPIs and other operating metrics
  • Understanding of SDLC and Scrum framework
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team responsible for large-scale Data and ML Infrastructure
  • Creatively test and manage software applications supporting large-scale real-time and batch data pipelines
  • Guide the team to implement new concepts or methods
  • Recruit talent
  • Research and recommend frameworks for operational excellence
  • Identify and address potential issues in work processes
  • Oversee unit testing, establish SLAs, and ensure data quality checks
  • Demonstrate proficiency in languages, data platforms, cloud services, event instrumentation, and methodologies
  • Set technical vision and engineering best practices
  • Perform code reviews
