  • Trade certification, technical diploma, or degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong digital literacy and experience with computerized maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Five to seven years of post-graduation experience, including three years in facility maintenance planning, scheduling, or supervision in a heavy-duty industrial environment such as mining or a process plant.
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license or equivalent.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
  • Maintain job plans, task lists, work packages, and maintenance strategies in the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Manage work backlogs for accuracy while considering requirements related to parts, labor, permits, drawings, facilities, support equipment, special equipment, tooling, and instructions.
  • Maintain an accurate forecast that adheres to established maintenance strategies.
  • Assist with monthly cost forecasting, annual budgeting, and cost analysis.
  • Work regularly with maintainers to build or improve detailed work packages.
  • Track and report key performance indicators and bring forward continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Commission and decommission equipment and manage its maintenance programs.

  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional or Maintenance Management Professional certification.
