Hawk-Eye Innovations creates officiating, broadcast, tracking and analytics tools for sports. It started with tennis and cricket in 2001 and now expands to more sports, serving major events and partners like Sony Sports Innovations Group. How it works: its systems use multiple cameras and computer vision to track ball movement and player actions, reconstruct 3D trajectories, and provide precise decisions (line calls, outs, goals) as well as live video feeds and data analytics for broadcasters, teams, and officials. How it differs: it combines a proven, widely adopted ball-tracking and officiating platform with production and digital solutions and integration across sports, trusted by the world’s biggest events and backed by a large, experienced team. Its goal is to make sports fairer, safer, more engaging and better informed by delivering reliable officiating tools, high-quality broadcast support, and actionable analytics.
