  • High school diploma is required
  • Two or more years of related drafting experience in the natural gas industry
  • Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software configurations
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD 3D
  • Excellent technical writing, organization, and communication skills
  • Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work well with others
  • Periodic travel may be required
Responsibilities
  • Prepare computer drafted natural gas pipeline designs, as-builts, and mechanical detail drawings
  • Reproduce historic pipeline drawings in AutoCAD
  • Generate bill of materials
  • Ability to work independently
  • Print working drawings using a plotter
  • Create estimated time requirements for projects
  • Attend project-specific meetings to determine CAD schedules
  • Save project-specific data on a daily and weekly basis
  • Complete 811 design requests and coordinate responses to obtain third-party infrastructure
  • Verify and organize field visit survey notes
  • Assist Project Managers as needed
  • Attend meetings as needed
  • Maintain excellent client relations
  • Maintain a safe working environment
