DISHER is currently partnering with one of the largest functional beverage manufacturers in America, offering a diverse portoflio of organic, private label, functional beverages for top global retailers. They are currently searching for a first shift Packaging Technician to add to their team in Wilmington, North Carolina.

What you’ll get to do:
- Assist the production team in following procedures and completing daily tasks, ensuring proper training and cross-training of employees.
- Support 2nd shift packaging and sanitation operations, monitoring security procedures and protocols, and enforcing operational and personnel policies.
- Model honesty, integrity, and hard work, setting expectations for team behavior and ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain and update SOPs as the company grows, ensuring new equipment is incorporated and employees are trained on safety guidelines.
- Report and participate in the investigation of safety and health incidents, actively working to eliminate future exposure.
- Create and manage a preventative maintenance program for packaging brite tanks and maintain inventory of necessary parts.
- Assist with CIP procedures in the brite tank and filler areas, supporting both packaging and sanitation teams when needed.
- Ensure proper storage and physical condition of brewery equipment, maintaining compliance with SQF guidelines and food safety protocols.
- Work with brewing and sanitation teams to develop and maintain a cleaning schedule aligned with food safety standards.
- Follow and encourage adherence to GMP and SQF policies related to food safety, reporting any concerns to the Quality Assurance Manager for corrective action.

- Computer literate, experience with Net-Suite preferred
- Skills in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to efficiently work alone and with others
- Trained + certified to operate a Electric pallet jack, Electric fork truck, Scissor lift
- Arc flash training / Train with Maintenance department to be cleared to open
- control cabinets to reset breakers/ overloads when needed
- Lock out Tag out Training in line with our Food safety program
- Chemical Training
- High School or GED required, Associates degree preferred
- First Aid and CPR Trained
- 2 years brewing and production training strongly preferred
- Willingness to participate in training outside of normally scheduled shift for overall operational success
