Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field is required.
- Eight to ten or more years of experience in business analysis, consulting, supply chain transformation, or technology implementation roles is required.
- Ability to think about end-to-end supply chain synchronization rather than specific area silos.
- Strong experience in supply chain domains such as planning, logistics and transportation, manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, demand forecasting, or order management.
- Experience supporting or leading client-facing consulting engagements with digital, systems-complex, and data analytics work.
- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, solution documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Experience contributing to presales, proposals, request for proposal responses, solution presentations, or consulting offerings.
- Prior experience working with cross-functional teams across business, information technology, architecture, data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and delivery functions.
- Experience in supply chain digital transformation, planning transformation, enterprise resource planning transformation, or analytics-led supply chain improvement programs.
- Strong knowledge in one or more supply chain areas, including demand planning, supply planning, sales and operations planning, integrated business planning, inventory optimization, production planning and scheduling, distribution and replenishment planning, logistics and transportation management, warehouse management, order management and fulfillment, network planning and supply chain design, supply chain control towers and visibility, or supply chain master data management.
- Knowledge of new product introduction and underperforming inventory.
- Strong understanding of process mapping, requirements documentation, functional specification writing, user stories and acceptance criteria, fit-gap analysis, use case development, and test scenario and user acceptance testing support.
- Good understanding of enterprise application landscapes involving enterprise resource planning, planning systems, data platforms, and integration layers.
- Ability to work with technical teams on data, analytics, integration, reporting, and system configuration requirements.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Lucidchart, and Microsoft Visio or similar tools.
- Ability to create polished client-facing presentations and executive-ready materials.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end presales activities for supply chain transformation and technology engagements.
- Contribute to request for proposal and request for information responses, proposal development, solution narratives, effort estimates, assumptions, and delivery approaches.
- Work with sales, practice leadership, solution architects, and delivery teams to develop client proposals.
- Create client-facing presentations, solution decks, offering materials, business case documents, and executive-level discussion materials.
- Support development of new supply chain service offerings, accelerators, frameworks, and reusable consulting assets.
- Participate in client meetings, discovery workshops, demos, and solution walkthroughs.
- Lead or support requirements-gathering sessions with client business stakeholders across supply chain functions.
- Analyze current-state business processes and identify gaps, pain points, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and solution specifications.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis between business requirements and technology platform capabilities.
- Support definition of future-state processes, operating models, and solution designs.
- Bridge communication between business users, product teams, technical teams, implementation partners, and leadership stakeholders.
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to design supply chain planning and execution solutions powered by data and analytics.
- Support configuration discussions, functional design, integration requirements, data requirements, testing, and deployment planning.
- Help define key performance indicators, dashboards, reports, and analytics requirements for supply chain visibility and decision-making.
- Support user acceptance testing planning, test case development, defect triage, and business validation.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives, industry best practices, and technology platform capabilities.
- Provide domain expertise during implementation, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead client discussions around business processes, requirements, and solution options.
- Build relationships with client stakeholders across business, information technology, operations, and leadership teams.
- Facilitate workshops, design sessions, process reviews, and executive readouts.
- Communicate complex business and technology concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage competing stakeholder priorities and support decision-making through structured analysis and recommendations.
Desired Qualifications
- An MBA or master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or Technology is preferred.
- Knowledge or experience with o9 Solutions, Oracle, Transporeon, Kinaxis RapidResponse, Blue Yonder, SAP Integrated Business Planning, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud, Anaplan Supply Chain Planning, E2open, Manhattan Associates, or similar transportation management, warehouse management, or supply chain platforms.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other analytics and visualization platforms.
- Certifications such as APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management, APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional, Supply Chain Council Professional, PMP, PRINCE2, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
