Duties & Key Objectives

• Own all aspects of direct, indirect and R&D purchase orders, including expediting orders as needed and following up with vendors for late PO fulfillment 
• Process material purchase and requisition requests using JIRA, researching goods, services, materials, and issuing purchasing orders to vendors
• Collaborate actively with Outrider engineering, manufacturing, quality and product teams, as well as external suppliers and partners, to ensure all components and systems are ordered and delivered on time
• Partner with the various Indirect departments, such as Information Technology, Human Resources, Facilities, and G&A to support sourcing strategies for respective indirect categories 
• Support inventory management and accounts payable as necessary
• Drive continual improvement of productivity
• Contribute generally to the growth and success of the Company and the building of a vibrant culture focused on the responsible deployment of zero-emission autonomous vehicle technology.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance or a related field; or equivalent education and work experience
• Experience using ERP based planning/purchasing software (Netsuite preferred)
• 2-years of experience in a buyer role with knowledge of Procure to Payment processes (preferred)
• Basic understanding of purchasing and inventory management principles
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
• Attention to detail and able to multi-task
• Quick learner and able to work in an unstructured environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range of $61,000 - $74,000. Actual compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits, and equity.
