  • Conceive, develop, and execute a communications strategy
  • Ongoing monitoring of the media landscape for opportunities and challenges
  • Develop messaging to support initiatives’ work and Vera priorities
  • Develop and execute a crisis communications plan
  • Ongoing pitching of Vera’s work and experts on staff
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for messaging development
  • Collaborate with digital and editorial teams for communication strategies
