- Support the preparation of the consolidated income tax provision and related disclosures.
- Assist with domestic and international tax matters, including indirect taxes and value-added tax.
- Gather information and prepare responses for U.S. federal, state, and international tax audits.
- Research domestic, international, state, and local tax matters and document conclusions in clear technical memoranda.
- Identify, design, and implement systems and process improvements that increase the accuracy and efficiency of tax reporting and compliance.
- Advise management on tax matters, regulatory compliance, and risk-management considerations.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external advisers to obtain information and resolve tax-related issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Mitsui Chemicals will acquire Ultradent Products, a major US-based dental materials manufacturer, for approximately $900 million. The deal represents the Japanese chemical producer's largest acquisition to date.
Ultradent Products has acquired Azena Medical, developer of the Gemini line of soft tissue diode lasers, deepening a decade-long partnership between the two companies. The acquisition brings Azena's laser engineering, design, manufacturing and clinical development expertise into Ultradent. Founded in 2014 and based in Walnut Creek, California, Azena Medical specialises in laser-based clinical devices.
