Requirements
  • PhD in Educational Studies (i.e. Globalization, Educational Change, Higher Education, Non-formal learning, or related field of study)
  • Master educator with a minimum completed MA degree in a relevant field (i.e. Globalization, Educational Change, Higher Education, Non-formal learning or related field of study) and/or extensive relevant and demonstrated experience as an educator in the area of globalization in education
  • Expert knowledge of key theories that apply directly to globalization
  • Expert knowledge of the impact of globalization for knowledge production, teaching, learning, health & social change
  • Expert knowledge of transnational interconnectedness and communication
  • Expert knowledge of migration and globalization
  • Expert knowledge of youth movements and the transnational history of youth movement
  • Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the graduate level
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience as a master teacher/instructor in the Quebec educational system is an asset
  • Knowledge of the impact and proven record of integrating pedagogical approaches anchored in equity, diversity and inclusion
  • Knowledge of the Quebec Education Program and Professional Competencies
  • Familiarity using myCourses, Zoom and/or other similar online platforms to facilitate quality teaching and learning experiences
  • Familiarity teaching blended classes
  • Familiarity with the application of a variety of digital teaching and learning tools
